The state of the Nation- (Aluu 4)

In Uk, a 4yr old girl went missing, the humane community sprung into action and many volunteered to join the police in their search. 3,259.8 Airmiles away, another communtiy was smashing the life out of 4 young men.

Are we asking the right questions?
Why should we have communities setting up vigilante groups in a country where the police is supposed to be in charge of safety of lives and properties?

Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria all stood up for their countries. All we are waiting for is for their countries to become better and we'll queue up at their emabassies for visas.

Artists are not singing the right kind of songs to caution the insensitive leaders. They sing to promote fraud, prostitution and fast-life just to make their money- afterall, no one sponsored their studio sessions. They play it safe inorder not to upset the powers-that-be who'll set them up to perform at mega concerts and birthday parties of the elites. (Is there even any need for another artist to sing? What happened to all the ones Fela sang about? No be mad man una call am?)

The religious leaders have turned spiritual scammers who fleeced the people of the little they have left in the name of God. Now that the whole country is getting flooded, they' ll start buying yachts for rural evangelism.

The presidency and legislature are busy lying to the nation. The judiciary can no longer be trusted to give a fair judgement. All infrastructures are grounded and our system has totally collapsed.

No love, no trust, no truth
So much pain, uncertainty and frustration.
Our walls are broken, our cities are invaded, our homes plundered
Mothers are wailing, children are captured and their fathers slaughtered
The gods are angry.

Who will rebuild the ruins of our walls?
Where is our Nehemiah?
