Life is lived in turns

In the morning, i see people in one part of the city shoving and pushing @ the bus stop. No regard even for disables or pram pushers.
Fast forward to another part of the city, i find another category responsibly waiting on a queue. ALL GOING TO THE SAME DESTINATION.
...It wasn't the government who decided how these two categories of people should behave- MENTALITY did.

Most people's mentality is all about ME, NOW, GREED. We don't believe in giving other people a chance. We rush. They say "take", we "scoop". We pull others down for us to rise. We don't stick to agreements, we renegotiate deals when it does not go our way.
We bring up our children with same mentality and it is a never-ending cycle.

Instead of looking inwards, we'd rather blame God for making someelse better than us. No He didn't we did!
Each one of us wants to get 'there' before the other, we want to get our share (and even more) before the other but in the face of all these, we fail to realise that a lot goes on within the process of starting and finishing. A lot happens between the time of asking and receiving We forget that life is lived in turns. We can't just be bothered.

Many people met with their helpers of destiny while waiting, and some missed them because of too much haste.
Some people through their act of kindness, like giving up their comfort for someone else to enjoy, got a bigger and unexpected reward in return. While some single-handedly wrecked their own chance of breakthrough with uncouth attitude.
I even heard a story of someone that escaped a plane crash because somebody played a fast one on him and took his place on the flight.

Life is lived in turns, try a little patience.

Giving others a chance only potray you as being graceful not that you are foolish.

To make your life fascinating, a good character is all you need to exhibit.

Stop chasing the wind. What is yours will not elude you as long as you are in the right place you ought to be.

Change your mentality and witness a great change in your life.

*(After we might have all gotten on the bus, i then take a look around at all those who were shoving and pushing to get in-the bus isn't moving them faster because they got in before someone else Here is all of us in the bus going at the same pace. So ki wa ni wahala aye gan?!)"
