Many people were only taught how to manage failures

Many people were only taught how to manage failures, not many people know how to manage success.

Yes we all know that if you fail once, you try and try and try again until you succeed. That is managing failures. How about success? What do you do when you succeed?

Struggling to get to the top is not as difficult as remaining there.
Some people met their untimely death as a result of their inability to manage their success.

Success often attracts new friends, new management team, new girlfriends, new lifestyle etc.
Many people after becoming successful, disconnect themselves from their past. They forget the days of their struggles and those who stood by them. They take no moment to think of where they are coming from.
Should this be the case? I'll leave this as an open-ended question.
But in any case, success is actually a test of character and sadly, many fail this test.

What is the way out?
The simplest and easiest way to manage success is not to forget the SOURCE.
Odo to ba gbagbe orisun e, ma gbe ni.
Deut. 8:10-20 puts this matter to rest.
...'Becareful not to forget the Lord your God....becareful not to forget His laws and to observe them...do not become very proud and forget how He far he has brought you thinking you acquired all by your strength ...remember it is the Lord your God who gives you power to succeed.

He has done His own part. You need to do yours by honouring Him with your success, and acknowledging Him as your source. This will help keep you in check anytime you want to misbehave.

Failure to do this, you will be destroyed- not by God, but by the success.
