Are you part of the problem or solution?

A lion will never give birth to a goat unless there is genetic manipulation. Even at that, the goat will still be able to roar.
That is to say- omo ti ekun ba bi ekun ni njo.

While we accuse this present generation of immoralty, greed, godlessness and violence, let us consider the generation that birthed them.

What kind of a daughter do you think a mother who has multiple boyfriends is raising?
How do you expect a mom who walks about town scantily dressed, and parties wildly from noon to dusk, to be able to influence her children to live responsibly?

A father who uses his son as a cover to front his fraudulent activities is leaving what sort of legacy?

A dad who patronises underage girls and boasts of his escapades in the presence of his children without any shame is laying what sort of example?

You see politicians spending public funds with reckless abandon and you are still wondering why majority of the youths have turned fraudsters?

Mr boss, all your sharp practices, bullish attitude, and flagrant disregard for regulations were evil seeds which you have unconsciously sown into the lives of some juniors who looked up to you as their mentor.

Some of the songs i grew up listening to helped form some of the values i hold today. What sort of music is this present generation exposed to? Mr musician, are you part of the problem or solution?

So here we are- The horse in front dictates the pace for those behind. Eshin iwaju ni t'ehin nwo sare.

What would you do so that the next generation is not wasted like ours?
