A pure-minded man does not suddenly fall into committing an act of wickedness by mere external influence; the wicked thought had long been secretly fostered in his heart, and the hour of opportunity revealed its gathered power.
Man is the lord and master of his own thought, the maker of himself, and the shaper of his environment.

Abi, am i mad?

I can liken NIGERIANS to a rich man who is the victim of a painful and persistent disease as a result of gluttony. While he's willing to give large sums of money to get rid of the disease, he's not ready to give up his gluttonous desires. He wants to satisfy his taste for rich and unnatural food and have his health as well. Such a man is totally unfit to have health, because he has not yet learnt the basic principles of a healthy life.

This is illustrative of the fact that NIGERIANS  are the cause of their circumstances. Whilst aiming at a good end, they are continually frustrating its accomplishment by encouraging thoughts, desires and actions which are not in harmony with that end.
They are revolting against an effect while at the same time nourishing and preserving its cause.

Abi, am I mad?!

Why Can't i be differrent

Why can't I be different?
Why can't I be myself?
It's smooth to blend but onerous to impersonate.

Why can't I be different?
Why can't I be myself?
It's convenient to blend but fleeting is the hurrah.

Why can't I be different?
Why can't I be myself?
When the burden to blend voids the opportunity to be phenomenal.

Our DNA

It is not where they seat us that makes us who we are. It's what we are that gives relevance to where we sit.‎
The decree a king makes while sitting on a bicycle is as valid as the one he makes from the throne.
Our substance is not in a badge. It's in our DNA.

Unity not Uniform

We may not be UNIFORM but we can still be UNITED.

Unity not Uniform. 1 Cor 1:10

What unites us in the body of Christ is the death and resurrection of Christ.
What unites us is the fellowship we share in his name.
What unites us is the message of LOVE he taught as the greatest, and which he wants us to demostrate.

Only the unity of mind and thought can bring about the true service he has called us into, and which is our true essence. Uniformity (everybody looking or doing the same thing) is only putting up a show.

If we are not unified in mind and thought, we'll still remain divided regardless of the uniform we put on.

Human beings are not robots. We cannot all be the same.
The body of Christ is not a cult. Folks should not be bullied to 'fit' in.

What unites us is the bigger picture that should be our focus, not how we differ as individuals.

Create Your Own Path

The path that many of us are following today was somebody's decision to go in the direction that was not popular.

They risked everything when others were being careful.
They remained committed when others mocked their decision.
They were undaunted in the face of strong challenges.
They held on to their convictions even when they had lost all other resources.

You are travelling on other's path-- convenient and smooth right?
But you can only go as far as they went unless you are willing to take their kind of risk.
Their horizon will be your horizon unless you are determined to see further.
You'll leave no remembrance unless you create your own path.

1. Some will epp and make you feel diminished.
2. Some will epp so that they can use you.
3. Some will epp and tell everybody that they epped you. Those who openly fulfil the assistance you asked for in private also fall under this category.
4. Some will do the epp small small so that you can keep coming back to them like they are your creator.
5. Some will epp you and keep calling you daily to remind you to thank them for epping you.
6. Some will epp you and take advantage of your situation to demand for something precious to you in exchange for the epp.
7. Some will HELP you because they are destined to do it.

Smart phone, Dumb user

Mobile technology has offered plenty of benefits that can be employed to make life convenient and easy, but to many dumb users it's just a style statement more than anything else. What thrills dumb smartphone owners is the fact that they own one, not that they know how to use the smart features to serve them any good.
If you must splurge on one of those fanciful gadgets, then take the pain to learn how it works.
A smart phone in the hand of a dumb user is simply a flashy liability to draw attention to appear smart.

Walahi, the gist was too lit and I didn't want to get off the train. Everything the man said on the phone to his brother was A*s.

I'll try my best to put it all in his words..i laughed at some point....but it was a serious matter. He wasn't happy.

I'll put his age at around early 50, he's educated judging from the conversation.

Some challenges come disguised as distractions to gain penetration after which it becomes a full blown trouble that cannot be contained.

Many are only equipped  to combat challenges but not distractions, which though subtle in form, are equally as deadly.

Distractions are to be ignored because they are designed to divert your attention from what is important to what is inconsequential---the same raison d'être of challenges.

The Judge

I went and sat at a busy bus stop this evening and started to judge everyone I saw.‎
As buses after buses arrived, i judged everyone I could lay my eyes on based on their physical features. From their hair-do, tatoo design, placements of the tattoo, mini skirt, long skirt, mini gown, shirtless, braless, tshirt, bumshorts, beard gang, thongs, grandma pants, piercings, makeup, public smoking, long gown, suit and tie, pumps, heels, flipflop, loud talker, yoga pants, bogus sunglasses, coloured hair, push up bras, slimfit jeans, potbelly, hijab, long nails, false eyelashes, smartly dressed, sagged jeans.
I judged and judged...and judged.

I was so good in my judgement that by mere looking at these features, I could within few seconds determine the sinner, godly, home breaker, prostitute, fraudster, liar,‎ honest, heaven-bound, hell-bound, criminal, homosexual, cheat, wise, foolish, hardworking, dirty, lazy, psychopath, child-molester, good husband, bad wife, rapist, talented, rich, poor, smart, dullard, proud, wicked, humble, glutton, racist.‎

I guess few people judged me as well because i saw the way some of them stared at me, but i'm not bothered because they cannot be correct in their assessment of me.

I'm now on my way home---feeling so fulfilled and proud of myself that I was able to judge others correctly while none could be right about me.‎

Too Anointed to be Corrected

In Paul’s Letter to the Galatians in Gal 2: 11-21, he wrote that he rebuked Peter “to his face because he clearly was wrong.”

What led to this was Peter’s hypocrisy in insisting that the Gentiles follow Jewish rules rendered obsolete by Jesus Christ. So‎ Paul moved swiftly to openly correct Peter when he ‎saw that he and the others were inconsistent with the truth of the gospel.‎

Let me explain the odd thing here as per today's christianity parole. Paul was a subject of Peter by all standard. Don't forget we are talking of the Peter who wined and dined with Jesus Christ throughout his earthly ministry. The Peter who walked on the sea. The Peter who was on the mount of Transfiguration. The Peter whom Christ handed the church to. So for levels matter we can say Peter na most senior apostle, whereas Saul, who later became Paul, na baby apostle. ‎

The million dollar question is can this happen in today's christianity? How many of these senior men wey never even see John the Baptist before, talk less of Jesus Christ can be RESPECTFULLY ADVISED, not even corrected privately not to talk of openly o?!!!
Men who have not even gone through the tiniest persecution which some of the apostles of old went through will be feeling unquestionable.
They want to lord their own opinion over you but nobody can make them see reason even in the light of the word of God. It's their way or no way.‎

This example of what Paul did was given so that if those who govern sometimes stray from the right way, they will not reject a correction as unworthy even if it comes from their subjects.

READ YOUR BIBLE. E ma kan ma gbe lo, gbe bo.

User's Template

Are you starting a business, church, NGO?
Do you have an idea but confused on how to launch it?
Do you quickly want to become a boss that cannot be challenged?
Do you think you are being used?
Do you want to know the warning signs to avoid being used?
Do you want to play users at their own game?

Then this post is for you. I bring you the good news of the step by step approach to make your dream come through, or to break free from the traps of the users.

1. Identify people with the set skills, talents and personalities that you require.

2. Sell the idea to them. This is the most critical stage. Do whatever it takes. Say whatever you have to say, even if you don't mean it.

3. Start using them to build. Be very fast at this stage. Use them as much as you can. Play along with them. Tolerate even their excesses and what you hate about them In this period. Just keep on using them.

4. Before they start having any sense of entitlement, disengage and part with them. At this stage you already have what you need. The structure is built. So start acting stubborn. Irritate them. Do whatever it takes to make them leave. Be brutal. Retain the weak and sycophants among them, they'll be references to instil confidence in the minds of the new people you'll be getting that you are loyal.

5. Get fresh people in. People who don't know your story. These are the people who'll give you the respect you want. Since they are coming in to join what has already been built, they'll simply marvel at the great work you have done and worship you. The sycophants you retained will also help boost your ratings with these new sets.

6. Set codes and markers. Lock up their minds. Become a law and authority.

7. Be scarce. Cut communication. If you must communicate use trusted errands. Be the boss.

This approach guarantees 100% success.

In most relationships these days, it's either you are being used or you are using somebody. It's a wicked world.

Oja odaju n'ile aye, o ni lati mo ra.

HERBALISTIC BELIEVERS

Disclaimer: This is written out of my personal meditation and experience. It is a suggestive rather than exhaustive treatise on the subject with the main objective of stimulating readers to the discovery and perception of the truth that- "Satan is the only real enemy of man". I, therefore, will only take responsibility for what I write and not what you understand.

....................

HERBALISTIC BELIEVERS//

As we have the ABIJALISTIC pastors, so we have the HERBALISTIC believers.

Definition:
The herbalistic believers are those set of Christians who find the simplistic gospel of Christ too good to be true and effective. In short, Christ is never enough-- there must be some extra things to be done to make it complete.

Can two walk together (hand in hand) unless they agree?
Many members you find in the ABIJALISTIC ministry didn't get there by chance but out of a deliberate and conscious decision influenced their by herbalistic nature.

Descriptive Examples:
The pronouncement, 'go and be made whole' can never work for them until some sort of special water or oil is prepared for them as takeaway, and they have to PAY FOR IT.
To them, silent prayer is no prayer and it cannot be answered until they pray like the worshippers of Baal.
Lastly, their ears are attuned to only certain types of prayer points and you cannot get their attention with prayer points outside this scope.

So from all indications, the ABIJALISTIC ministry is the only kind of ministry where the penchant of the Herbalistic believers for 'ètò'(rituals) and Ohùn /Gbolohun (voice) can be met.

However, what I really want to focus on in this exposé is that common denominator between the ABIJALISTIC pastors and their patrons: ENEMY.
This is the cord that binds them together.

ENEMY:

We have only one enemy- Satan. The enemy of God and the accuser of the saints.
All other perceived enemies are your own creations and they'll continue to torment you for as long as you permit their existence in your sub-conscious.

Human beings are not your enemies. Ofcourse there would be people that you don't get along with for whatever reasons, but that does not make them your enemies. Whatever issues you have with them are mere acquaintances disagreement which can be resolved through different means other than praying that God should kill or maim them.

The human enemy you grapple with are just mere tools used by satanic forces to create openings for them to attack you.

So they use human beings to:
provoke you to anger and push you to self-destruct mode
sow seeds of negativity in your life,
source secret information about yourself or plans from you,
give you wrong advises which can lead to stagnation or destruction.

Way out:

Change of belief:
So the first step towards deliverance for the HERBALISTIC believers is to turn their focus away from believing that the human enemy is behind all their problems, and now begin to understand that they are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and wickedness in high places.- Eph 6:12, 2Cor 10:3. This understanding alone will bring about the right kind of prayer points that guarantees answer.

Use of authority:
Secondly, they need to start exercising the authority which was given to them at creation.-Gen 1:26-28. The power is there, only dormant because they don't know they have it. Matt 18:18. The ABIJALISTIC pastors are using these same powers while some are even secret agents of Satan carrying out his destructive instructions.

Choice of weapons:
The weapons of warfare in this kind of battle are not carnal. The blood of the lamb and the words of your confessions are the main weapons that must be in their armoury. Rev 12:11, 2Cor 10:4-5.

Please the Lord in your ways:
The easiest way to maintaining constant victory over these forces without even having to fight is to be please God in your ways. Prov 16:7.

The wisdom of God:
Satan is very wise so you need a superior type of wisdom to overcome him. This type of all -conquering wisdom is only contained in the word of God. His word directs and illuminates. Psalm 119:105, James 1:5.

ABIJALISTIC PASTORS

Disclaimer: This is written out of my personal meditation and experience. It is a suggestive rather than exhaustive treatise on the subject with the main objective of stimulating readers to the discovery and perception of the truth that- "Your understanding of the word of God determines the way you live your Christian life". I, therefore, will only take responsibility for what I write and not what you understand.

...................

If your understanding of the word of God is wrong, your christianity too will be wrong.
If you wrongly divide the word of God, it's application too will be wrong.

This, I think is why we have some pastors whose modus operandi is akin to the famous ABÌJÀ .

They mask their high level of personal entitlement with 'thus saith the Lord' and bully their congregation into the obedience of their long list of vague tripe full of dark warning, bright promise, and gushing flattery.

What they lack in leadership discernment they cover up by confusing their congregation with non-clear specifics—do this, not that; go here, not there—among the whole lot.

Dare to challenge their authority and see them display the theatrics of ÀJAN, the genie ABÌJÀ often consult, threatening to summon angels from heaven to come down with diggers and shovels to dig the ground to swallow you up.

It is difficult for a believer who has the revelation of the true gospel of Christ to be fully operational in the same while serving under an ABÌJÀLISTIC ministry. Such a believer will always run foul of the authority of the leader who often reach decision that seems right to them--not necessarily the word of God.

Need I also reiterate that believers also face persecution from within the fold.

How to survive as a believer in an ABIJALISTIC MINISTRY:

- Guard your heart. Proverbs 4:23

- Practice humility. Do not flaunt what you know in their faces with air of arrogance. Follow John 3:30 and also pray that they too come into the full knowledge of the true gospel of Christ.

- Do not fear their fear. Isaiah 8:12. Believers under this ministry live in fear of their ABÌJÀ pastor. They dare not flout any of his rules and risk being cursed. Remember, Christ has been cursed for your sake when he was crucified and at his resurrection you have been pronounced blessed, so no other decree can stand.

The Parable of Cane rat

Bi òkété bá dàgbà, omú omo re lo nmu.

Let's take note of these points:

(A) That the offsprings of the cane rat will not have the same boobies. While one will be flaunting FF, another will just be managing A. Often, this is by natural design not by choice.

(B) That their growth and body sizes will defer based on how much they were able to graze and other factors.

(C) The combination of these points will determine the amount of fluid they can produce for mother rat and others to feed off.

...............................

1. If you have relatives abroad or even local who are sending you monthly stipends, please appreciate the little they are doing and pray that things be well with them to do more.

2. Making comparisons and tagging them as failures because what they offer still fall way below your expectation despite spending several years abroad, is nothing but callousness. Not everybody that's rich got it through the normal means, just like not every big bobbie is natural. Comparing those who are surviving through legitimate means with circumventors is wickedness. They can't produce same results. (Refer to A & C above).

3. Getting angry and cursing them for sending what is not enough to sort your financial predicament is not the best way to appreciate their kind hearts. They too are still LEAN. (Refer to B & C above)

.............................

If however you think it's easy, you too go and collect 6 months visa, then come and use it to find work, sustain yourself, turn around the lives of everyone around you and turn it to indefinite leave.

If you think it's easy, you too go and collect 3 yrs student visa, then come and use it to work (with the restrictions), pay your fees, sustain yourself, build mansion at home, turn around the lives of everyone around you and turn it to indefinite leave.

Come and achieve these things under 10yrs- don't stand on a dry land and blame a sinking man for not knowing how to swim. Either believe when they tell you the water is deep and difficult to swim or you go in and test the depth yourself.

Many of your folks are here in mental facilities, some are placed on anti-depressants, some are in prison....all because of the pressure to meet expectations.

Don't assume anyone that's not meeting your expectation is tight-fisted or selfish. Some are just not at that comfort level you think they ought to be at because they have spent a decade abroad. It's not just all about the length of time spent abroad. Ojo lasan leyin nka, but irinajo yi o straightforward beyen o. So many things are involved. Gbogbo aso de ko la nsa l'oorun- It's not every story they can tell you.

Appeciate the little they do, encourage and give them time. Stop cursing and putting pressure on them to bite more than they can chew.

Even there are many people in Lagos who can't tell their folks where they work or how much they earn because of the fear of the weight of responsibility they'll be asked to bear.

Even unbelievers who confidently ask from God, receive.
God is naturally a giver. He gives freely to all without requirement.
He gives to you like you deserve it, and He gives His best.
Your understanding of God is important in recieving from Him.
Approach God according to His word, not according to your experience or cultural background.

Add Value

You are forming farmiliarity but they keep denouncing you publicly.
My friend, first go and make something out of your own life then wait and see if they'll not be the one to extend a hand of friendship to you.

This is wisdom. Stop forcing yourself on people while in your state of irrelevance. They'll see you as a liability. Nobody likes to carry extra baggages about.
Spend that energy and time on yourself to become relevant.  The value you have added to yourself will do the rest.

THIS IS LIFE IN BLACK & WHITE:

1. No matter how good a thing is, some people will still not like it simply because it has something to do with you.

2. No matter how good you are at what you do, some people will never give you their support because they don't just like you.

3. No matter how much  you suck at what you do, some people will support you with their last breath. They look but don't see your flaws. Their only concern is that you succeed, and they don't even mind if the support they give will make you more successful than them.

4. You won't get everybody to like you or what you do, but the more you get on your side the better.

5. Trying so much to make people like you is a waste of effort. Concentrate that effort on improving on what you do and making those who love you proud. Forget trying to convert those who have sworn not to have anything to do with you.

Me and Egbon

(Me and Egbon)

Egbon, I should get off at the next station but i'll go as far it takes to finish this discussion.
You are correct to say life gave us all equal 24hrs in a day, but that's in theory. In reality, some have 38hrs in a day, some 13hrs,...and some have just 8hrs.

E ni suru egbon, i'll explain. I call this the parable of the 24hrs.

Se ri, some people discovered that they have more to do than they can accommodate in their own 24hrs, so they approached people like you and I to buy some of our own hours. They buy 8hrs from you...buy 10hrs from another person....buy 6hrs from me and then add all these hours to their own. Egbon, once money changes hands or a promise to pay is agreed, those hours become theirs. They add It to their own 24hrs and deduct it from that of the seller. So ye yin de be yen?

OK. Now this is very important: Because time is a commodity that's highly dependent on its owner; iyen ni pe, when you give your time you also have to give yourself, the person you have sold part of your day's hours to will also need to get you physically to do whatever he wants to do. Se get me sir? This is why these 'time buyers' don't buy hours from just anybody. They make sure the person must have the necessary skills to use those hours PRODUCTIVELY for them to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve.

Egbon, when you are late or loafing about and they scream 'don't  waste my time', you have no right to complain. It is part of their day's hours that they want to MAXIMISE.
Egbon, when you have finished what you are asked only for them to add more, you can't complain sir because it's their day's hours won de lo bi won se fe.

So ye yin so far egbon?

Now e gbo eleyi. Not every hours of your day counts...even out of the remaining that you have not sold. The only hours that counts for you in your life time are those spent productively towards the pursuit of your goals, taking needed rest, and being around your family. The rest don't count and this is why you see that time goes quick and many have little or nothingn to show as achievements.

Egbon e calm down. I know we all sell part of our hours ....or waste it, and i'm not saying don't work again. My question is what value do you place on your time? E lo ni? And also, how do you maximise what is left?
While somebody sells each hour of his day In excess of £1000, another person engages in unproductive activities. This is what makes all the difference.

Ok egbon, let me conclude:
Spend your hours doing only what brings value to you. Focus your time solely on what you live for.
If you must sell your hours, charge what you know you deserve and don't be sorry for it.
If you must give your hours free to anyone, make sure they are those who appreciate and value what you are offering them.

My time which I have spent following you here, and which i'll spend to go back is not a waste because it was spent doing what I live for. I live to make impact, and feel fulfilled each time I do something as little as this.

Oja odaju n'ile aye, e de ni lati mo ná.

A ma rira later egbon. O dabo.

Friday Sharaout

Special Friday sharaout to all my brothers and sisters of God who are still frantically working their own salvation, even though the work of salvation has been completed at Calvary and all they require is faith in Christ Jesus.

Y'all quick to quote Phil 2:12 while you ignore the verse 13. Abi una no see say na comma end verse 12? Se comma dey finish sentence? Issokay continue.

Anyway, make I remind you also that there about 613 statues and ordinances you have to abide with to fulfil the works of the law and save yourself. You break one, you break all.

Garlic Association

People who eat garlic don't usually close their mouth when breathing.
Do they have an association where their members are instructed to go and be practising this wickedness in public?

Yes, garlic is medicinal...bla bla bla....but pulease just close your mouth when you breathe. What you are letting out from your nostrils is already too much to handle.

Simple Question

(Man 2 meets Man 1 at the lift):

Man2: Are you going down?

Man1: (snapping his fingers over his head) i'm not going down in Jesus name.
(He stepped into the lift and pressed 'G' button)

Miserable Christians

So many christians are miserable because they live their lives under condemnation. The gospel they have had preached to them is not the gospel of Christ. It is witchcraft. The god they were introduced to is the wicked one, not the merciful God!

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom 8:1

Maturity

Maturity is not a metric of numbers. It is the gracefulness with which you deal with (or/and rise above) certain situations.

Think back at how you have handled certain situations in the past 6 months:

Think of the moment you dropped your crown to wrestle in the mud with pigs when you should have acted gracefully.
Think about about the matter you worsened by your response, when your silence, even though painful, might have settled it and even earned you more respect.
Think of the gossip you stooped so low to get involved in, and how your contribution earned you disgrace.
Think about the public display of lunacy you put up to defend insults thrown at you, when you could have walked away gracefully and earn applause from on-lookers.
Think of the revenge you planned
Think about what you have against those who have had your back in the past and how you have disrespected or are still disrespecting them.

Do any of these make you a matured person? The answer is NO!

The Good news is that there's another chance for you starting from today to live a matured life.

The Epistle of Akin VòGg to the Jagunmolus chapter 17: 22-27

WORD FOR THE DAY:

The Epistle of Akin VòGg to the Jagunmolus chapter 17: 22-27

 22. When they see that thy life is tidy, and that thou hast able to manage the challenges that life throws at thou well;
23. Then, the tribe of Abaniwonranbaorida will call unto the tribe of Asenitanbanidaro, to join forces together and suggest to thee counsel to bring thy life to turmoil.
24. My son, then shalt thou see beyond their friendly counsel and know that, that which they devise for thee is evil and not good.
25. Thou shalt be wise and courageous  not to follow the counsel which they give thee In thy bed chamber, but to throw it away whilst they depart from thy gates.
26. My son, do not bite more than thou can chew when they spread before thee sumptuous counsel from their table of temptation, lest thou become choked.
27. And when thou cry for help from the tribe of Abaniwonranbaorida and the tribe of Asenitanbanidaro, they will mock thee for falling into their trap, and they will drink and dance with their concubines and wives in celebration of thy disgrace.

May the Lord bless the reading and hearing of the word.

Senior Boys

A work mate met me in the lift and I guess he was in the mood to talk.

Him: Did you watch the England match yesterday?

Me: Yes I did.

Him: Ohh....they didn't play well at all. I don't like it...

I didn't reply until I was about to exit.

I looked into his eye and said: Let's worry about ourselves and not these boys. They are ok. They'll be fine. Let me and you look after our own lives.

Him: hun hun...say no more!

...........

Trust me this is the mind set I want to take into the 2016/17 season. I don't want to get angry...I don't want to cuss any of these players again.
Even if Walcott can't score from a simple tap into an empty net, I just want to bless him and focus on my own destiny. What will my cuss do to him anyway? He's on £145k per week for godssake!

Even if Ozil start bringing sofabed to the pitch, I just want to bless him and focus on my destiny. I won't get angry and call him lazy again. Me that is hard working, I earn £200k in 5yrs? He earns this every 7days!- Sun, Mon, Tue, Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat.

I no longer care if Wilshere comes dead drunk to training everyday. I just want to bless him too and focus on my destiny. I watched him debut for the senior team at 16yrs, and he has since then gone to play in the Champions league and the National team. Me wey dey drink only when I get awuf drink, se I don dey work for Shell?

I don't care anymore whether Wenger spends or he buys back Diaby. I just want to bless him and focus on my destiny. If im no sabi wetin im dey do, he won't be managing one of the best clubs in Europe for over 10yrs. He must be damn good at what he does.

These guys deserve some RESPEK! Even E-money wey nobody sabi im source of wealth sef dey get respect from people, talkless of these guys who made sacrifices to get to this level! They worked damn hard! Na for age I be dier senior, but for destiny, they are granpas.

Sebi me sef talk say I be footballer, which club sign me? If truly say I good, why I no play pass Saturday league? I don't want to abuse anyone of them again. They are not my mate.

Seek Professional advise

(This post is for those living in Europe and America only)

....................

On immigration //

I have had private discussions on this matter with different people at different times, so I thought it's high time I aired my views for the benefit of all. Please read with open mind. I only take responsibility for what I write and not what you understand.

....................

1. Apart from those who are British-born (taking UK as an example), the rest of the migrants have had to explore means within or outside the law to regularise their stay in the country.

2. There are many who did not make use of the options available to them because of what they heard in church, and this is what I wish to address.

3. I personally feel it's not the duty of the church to judge/condemn people who are making efforts to regularise their stay, regardless of the means chosen. It is the responsibility of the HO and the judiciary to determine whether a person has acted in accordance with the law of the land or not. Even in cases where a person is known to have acted outside the law, the judiciary often consider mitigating circumstances and thereby determine the matter on the balance of fairness and justice. The church should stay within her boundary of preaching the gospel and allow the appropriate authorities to do their job.

4. For ministers who are fond of speaking for God, I advise they refrain from making absolute where the bible has not made absolute. Many of these ministers speak with no empathy because they don't know how it feels to be in such a situation. I'll advise they stop making laws where God has not made laws. Rather than misleading people with their limited knowledge, they should simply pray with them (if they wish to), and advise them to seek legal advice.

5. The people themselves should endeavour to stay on the side of the law and seek the right kind of assistance . From the part of the world where we come from I know it's very difficult to convince someone to go to a lawyer instead of a pastor, everything is spiritual! While i'm not saying don't pray, I'm saying SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP ON TIME. You cannot just be praying without submitting any application for the donkey years you have been in the country! Also, remember we live in a world that's governed by the principle of actions and repercussions, so If you can do the crime, you should be ready to do the time.

6. The only kind of spiritual help i'll advise you seek is for guidance to know if you are really sowing in your land or you should be somewhere else.

7. Lastly, the ultimate judgement should be left to God, the all-knowing and fair judge. He alone can judge rightly the motive behind every of our actions.

Prayer

There comes a point in every man's life where one needs to un-learn the old/incorrect teachings, and learn the new/correct.

One of such things i wish to share today is PRAYER.

The concept of prayer we used to have is the vindictive, revengeful and herbalistic type, in which we send God on missions as if He were a hired assassin.
Also in our prayers, we send fire, thunder and tornado after the demons, forgetting that they can't die.
There are so many requests we make which are unnecessary, and time spent in this fruitlessness could have been spent in better productive ventures.

I'll like to share the concept of prayer as examplified for us by Christ, and with this knowledge comes the power to pray prevailing prayers because we pray aright.

Prayer is defined as TAKING GOD'S WORD BACK TO GOD.
Christ, throughout his earthly ministry based his prayers/requests on the WORD. He's always quoted to say "for it is written..." . When the Word becomes the foundation upon which we base our prayer requests, we can be sure to receive answers because nothing exists outside the Word.
When God said "come let's reason together...." He's saying come and hold me by my Word. Come and plead your case based on what I have said concerning you. God will never allow any of His Word to go unfulfiled because He elevates His word more than His name.

To pray in this manner requires you to know the Word.
To pray in this way requires you to believe in the Word.

There are so many prayers we ought not to pray any longer, but to simply use the Word to take our authourity. The Word has already settled some things, we only need to apply it to make it come into effect.

This is the same concept applied by the traditionalists when offering prayers to their deities. They base their requests on the Word. They use established convenants and evidences as the basis upon which they make their requests, and they get results.

Oftentimes, we pray with no basis and no authourity behind it. Such prayers are mere empty words spoken into the air. It'll bring back no result regardless of the drama displayed during the prayers.
Taking God's word back to Him is the surest way to pray through, because the Word is already settled in heaven.

You can scream, shout and roll on the floor and get no results, while somebody who appears to be simply mumbling but praying quality prayers based on the word will get results.
It's not the amount of time spent praying that guarantees result but the quality of the Word.

Everything you might be passing through has been settled in the Word. Dig out the Word and apply it. Confess the Word. Nothing exists outside it.

Always pray: For it's written.....

(NB: I have simply shared the truth and not brought any denomination into the spotlight, so let's not go there)

E-money visits Jagaban

(Jagaban invites E-money to his Ikoyi home)

Jagaban: You are welcome. Thanks for coming.

E-money: (in thick igbo accent) Chief, I was about entering my private jet to fly away to abroad when I received your message to see you. Infact, I told my pilot to keep the engine running that I won't be long.

Jagaban: Thank you...thank you. I'm sorry I altered your plans. Where are you going by the way...hope you can still meet up with your appointments?

E-money: Well, well chief, I will manage. I'm just going to Switzerland to service my watch. I do it every 3, 3 months. I'll ask my PA to call them to wait for me until I arrive....Erm, don't worry chief. Let's go straight to business.

Jagaban: oh ok...thank you. Erm, I just want to...

(E-money cuts him short)

E-money: Erm, sorry chief...I hope this is not about politics. If it is, with all due respect sir, I don't want to be governor of this state yet. I'll prefer to start from the senate first, just like you, to gain small experience before I can become governor. It's the same thing i told them In my home state when the elders met me recently on the issue.

Jagaban: oh E-money, it's a different matter I invited you for, but equally important you see. Very important. Erm, E-money, I just want to find out from you where you bought that your money-spraying gun. And that your employee that loads the money is he trained in this country?

E-money: oh chief, is this what you wanted to discuss? You should have atleast contacted Limpopo to find out from me.

Jagaban: apologies. I never thought he'll know. I'm sorry...

E-money: issokay chief. Which of the currency one do you want, because I have for pounds, dollars, Euro..like that, like that...

Jagaban: so you don't use the same one for all the currencies?

E-money: no chief..not at all. The same way you can't use one condom for all the ladies.

Jagaban: (slap-shake E-money) E-money! E-money! Kura omo! Anyway, i'll need the one that can spray Naira. You know people like us spend old money and we spray only fuji musicians and area boys. So, the naira one will be good.

E-money: Ok chief. You'll hear back from me through Limpopo. Let me be on my way.

(E-money turns to his PA): Biko, call the pilot to put on the AC in the jet because i'm on my way now.

Self Yabis

But o ye ki n joko ki n r'onu mi sha.

Rooney can travel from France straight to his Portugal mansion for holiday.

Sterling can decide he does not want to come back home with the team flight, and call for his private jet to come and air lift him to the Bahamas.

From Heathrow or wherever they land, Joe Hart will ride home in his Rolls Royce ghost.

Wilshere's dad will come and pick him with his White Range Rover Autobiography.

Here am I in my small cubicle making jest of them for losing to Iceland.
They are fulfilled. What have I done with my life? Even little Rashford don't need to pass his A-level to be successful. He's successfull!

I'm not worthy of laughing at any of these guys. Millions all over the world tuned In to watch them....who sabi me?

Win or loss, their endorsements, improved contracts etc are there for them. They can afford every good things of life that money can buy. They are performing at the world stage. They are operating in their destinies. What have I done with mine, yet i'm older than all of them.

I don't deserve to laugh at people who make in a day what I struggle to make in a year.

I'm sorry Rooney & co. I should have thought about all these earlier.

Once again, I apologise.

Mis-translators

You have to be careful of those who reason ONLY in their local languages. They are easily offended because they interpret your English comments in their language, say Yoruba, and this sends the wrong message across to them that they have been insulted.

For example, Say to one of them: 'You are talking nonsense'. In English, nonsense means words spoken or written that makes no meaning or that is out of point.
If this is decoded in Yoruba it will mean 'E n soro bi eniti ko lopolo' or 'E n soro ti ko mu lakaaye dani'.
This is highly offensive especially to somebody older. Even if you respectfully add 'sir' to your statement, Won si ma binu buruku!

On Sunday while on our way home from church, I wanted to get an international calling card and I tried 2-3 corner shops and they didn't have. After my 2nd attempt and I returned to the car, my son said: 'Dad I think you are getting more and more terrible now and you don't know what you are doing." So I asked, haba kilode? He replied: "Because you keep starting and stopping, and going all over the place so I think you don't know what you are doing." If I were to decode this in Yoruba, the summary is that 'o ni ori mi o pe, mi o mo nkan ti mo n se'. That's a grave offence- o n soro si baba e!!! Eewo!
I understood his message and was reasonable enough to know that there was no other way he could have put it. So rather than screaming 'omo yi ma ri mi fin o....omo yi ma ri mi fin o....' I just explained to him what I was trying to do, and he said 'ok daddy'. Ce fini.

So caution is required on the part of the speaker, while reason is expected from the hearer or reader. Once you identify that they are bad at interpretation, speak the language they understand or put a disclaimer like I always do- I'M ONLY RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT I WRITE AND NOT WHAT YOU UNDERSTAND. To the hearers, no be everything be insult. Please be reasonable.

Wicked Elements

I think the set of Nigerians abroad who are at the forefronts of anti-corruption, anti-change, and anti-Buhari campaigns are simply WICKED ELEMENTS.

If the country was well-governed, why did you run away?
E ro wipe eyin ti goke odo ki afara to ja abi?
Because you have light and Internet, you think that gives you the liberty to talk recklessly?

Do they reward people who misappropriate public funds with chieftaincy titles in the abroad where you are?

Some of you travelled to the abroad where you are to study when your own country couldn't offer you qualitative education. Why haven't you returned back to your country since you completed your studies? Oh ho...you can't return back to the darkness you left some 15yrs ago.

And to those of you who came with 6 months visit visa since 22yrs ago, why haven't you returned back to your paradise?

You shameless people, you complain of being treated like second class citizens where you are and yet you won't condemn the evil that's going on in your country so that it can be cleaned up for you to return to enjoy first class treatment.

You won't even watch the correct channels in the abroad where you are to see how the public are scrutinising their leaders on live TV, and demanding the delivery of the promises of their campaigns, na stupid Nollywood movies una go dey watch. How would your mentality even improve?

When your country was recently referred to as fantastically corrupt, una begin foam for mouth say dem insult una yet there's no positive contribution you are ready to make to correct that perception. How dare you now condemn those who have put their lives at stake to confront this monster? What is your agenda against Nigeria becoming great again? Make up your minds on the real cause of your frustration because you seemed confused.

Many of you are age mates of those ruling the countries where you are- something that's not obtainable in your own country. Iyen o de to ironu fun yin? You are not even adapting well in the countries where you are since the donkey years you have come to settle. You still live and do everything with your small and corrupt Nigerian mentality. Who needs your opinion?

Animals even have rights in abroad where you live, yet human beings in your own country live worse than animals. Is it your wish that this continue? What do you stand to gain in this evil? Your lives might be hard wherever you are but you can still eat 3 times a day. Do you know that only sick people are entitled to drink milo that you take after each meal? Do you know that some people don't even know the taste of milk? And you think it's alright for this to continue?

You think it's ok for a country as wealthy as Nigeria to be In perpetual darkness in this age and time? Do you think it's ok for able-bodied youths to wake up in the morning and be attending church programmes- looking to God for hope, when they ought to resume to work and be productive? You think it's alright for religious centres to be more than factories and places of employment? Is that how it is in the abroad where you live? Do you hope that God will pay your bills at the end of the month or you go out and work?

So you think because you can convert  that dollars, euro and pounds to Naira at high rate to be able to send your own children to private schools back home, other children should not have qualitative education since the public institutions have become dilapidated?
Do you work and not get paid in the abroad where you are? Do you beg to be paid? Do they pay you half and ask you to come back for the remaining 2 months later? So you think it's ok for some human beings to work and not get paid for 1year?

You know how tirelessly you toil in your abroad to be able to afford your annual 2-week holiday to Nigeria, where you flaunt your converted currencies and new clothes you purchased for the purpose of the short visit. All you do throughout is complain and drag your people In the mud because of their living condition. Dida lo da ti omo d'egbe. A mo wipe egbe kii se ile omo. You live in their midst like you have just come from heaven where your feet don't touch the floor. Letter to myself

Dear Segun,

Result cancels insult.

Insult suggests that you are operating at a level that you should have risen above. So, Instead of responding back to insults thrown at you and making a further mess of everything, simply channel that same effort on improving yourself and let the new result address those issues.

Ti aye e ba ni itumo, awon oro kan wa ti won o ni so si e.

When you are being insulted, it's a time for you to admit that you need to get better. When issues you are fighting over are irrelevances, admit you need to change your game.
The best way to do this is to change level.

Segun, do not respond back to insult. Just work on yourself and get better.
Do not try to explain your way out, rather reflect on what's happening, and think of how to get away from that situation so that it does not become a common occurrence.

Segun, do not use insult to correct insult. Work more on yourself and get better.

Yours,

AV

BE INSPIRED TO LIVE - Don't just exist

If i'm asked to submit my CV, these are some of the tangibles i'll be proud to present.
Many have fantastic qualifications on paper that'll put me to shame, but not many can produce real evidences of what they can do or have done.
The proofs attached are my creation. The expression of my soul. My essence. Everybody don't need to like or accept them, but they are indestructible. They are my footprints on earth that I ever lived.

Equally, my over 10yrs of combined work experience in the property and health sectors is nothing to brag about because I was in those places simply for economic reasons. I didn't have to contribute anything special other than to turn up to work and follow procedures. Anybody can do that and It's no wonder why employees are replaceable-- hire the next mankind, give them the template, rinse and repeat.
One principle I have however stuck with over the years is not to take any employment that's choking (gives no room to do what I love), or that can kill my creativity. I'm an expressive person with wild imagination. I write and sketch on impulse. My mind is always wandering to pick ideas from strange places, yet there are days when i'm completely blank. I'm spontaneous and can only thrive in an environment that offers me this space and flexibility. So for me, It's not all about money. It's about freedom.

I appreciate people who can introduce themselves with proofs of what they can do or have done. Therefore, I have promised myself that when I become an employer of labour, the maximum academic qualifications i'll demand are reading, writing, and comprehension. If you want to work for me, you must be able to prove to me what you can do practically.

----------------
I'm a singer/song-writer, creative/inspirational writer and founder/creative designer of a contemporary African clothing label, listed among the best 50 in London.
As things stand today, my combined academic qualifications won't even get me an interview at any top corporation, so it's of no use listing them here.

Tomatogelism

(Service in progress. A young lady of about 16yrs ran into the auditorium, screaming, "Jesu gba mi! Jesu gba mi! Mo sa di o....")

G.O asked the ushers, who by now have pinned her down, to allow her come forward.

G.O: Ki loruko e? What's your name?

Girl: Alira

G.O: Ki lo sele? Ki lo fe ki Jesu se fun e? Whatapun? What do you want Jesus to do for you?

Girl: Mo fe ki Jesu gba mi lowo oga mi to fe pa mi? I want Jesus to save me from my boss who is after my life.

(The whole church groaned. Some started speakin in tongues straightaway)

G.O: Oga e fe pa ke?! Ese wo lo se? Your boss want to kill you?! What crime did you commit?

Girl: Won ni ki n din eyin, mo wa fi tomato meji fi din. I was asked to prepare fried egg, so i garnished it with 2 pieces of tomatoes.

(The whole church screamed and different comments started to fly about)

Church: onigbese! ......ika! ....tomato meji to fry egg?! .....even the Jesus you are seeking his refuge will be angry!

G.O: Quiet everybody! Pulease i want silence.

(Turning to the girl):
Se wa fi aye e fun Jesu? Will you give your life to Jesus?

Girl: To ba ti le funmi ni tomato. If he can give me tomatoes.

G.O: Jesu kii se agbe. Ko le fun e ni tomatoes, sugbon o le lo mi lati fun e. Jesus can't give you tomato because he's not a farmer, but he can use me to give you tomatoes.

Girl: Mo se tan, ma f'aye mi fun. I'm ready to give my life to him.

G.O: Oya kunle. Ti mo ba ti gbadura pelu e tan, ma fun e ni one bag of tomatoes ko lo fun oga e. Ok, kneel down. I will give you a bag of tomatoes to give to your boss after i have finished praying with you.

Ma wi tele mi......Say after me.....

Preach the gospel....make disciples

As a matter of personal principle I don't collect church leaflets on the street. If I stop for you to speak to me and you tell me about church and not Christ, i'll simply walk away and leave you standing there.

We need to stop evangelising to fill church seats.
Spiritual growth is not measured by numbers but by the quality of life (fruits) exhibited by believers.
So many churches have grown in status but the people in there have stunted growth. So much focus is on the building and not building the people.
Evangelism is a commission to make disciples of all nations, not a denominational competition.

The instruction left by Christ is to raise world changers not church goers.
How can this be done?
Through the WORD. The quality of the word determines the quality of the people.
Much of the word coming from the pulpits today are religious heresies.
The church is fast becoming a play ground where religious nepotism, hero-worshipping, hypocrisy, and all sorts of other games are taking place.

We can still get it right if we can concentrate on the ONLY commission given to the disciples by Christ in Mark 16:15, and forget about every other distractions.

The Academic Grading System

Disclaimer: This is written out of my personal meditation and experience. It is a suggestive rather than exhaustive treatise on the subject, with the main objective of stimulating readers to the discovery and perception of the truth that- "there's more to life than academic grades". I, therefore, will only take responsibility for what I write and not what you understand.
-------------------------------

A contributing factor to so many truncated destinies around today can be traced to the ACADEMIC GRADING SYSTEM.

The Academic grading system says that the compiled result of series of 1hr 45mins exams taken over a period of 4-7 yrs, depending on the course of study, is enough to determine whether an individual will succeed in life or not.

Let's look at how this plays out under the following categories:

The first category are the under-achievers.  These people only push themselves just enough to meet the required minimum grade because the grading system says the minimum is enough to get them by in life. So they never operate at their optimum level. They work-pay bills-repeat.

The second category of people are those who fails to meet the minimum requirement and are placed in the lower/failure category by the Academic grading system. They are made to believe that since they can't even meet the bare minimum required to work for somebody else, they can't achieve anything worthwhile on their own. These people too will simply give up trying for this reason. Going forward, they lose every form of self-belief to aspire for greatness and rather settle for whatever life offers them. They settle for scraps.

The last category are those who are adjudged to be genius by the Academic grading system. They are usually placed In the upper class and made to believe that the world is theirs to conquer. They are primed with self-confidence, which is not bad, but what the system however fails to tell them is that, talent is not enough. They are pushed out into the world with a false sense of superiority, believing that they have no defects or weak areas to improve on. The genius therefore when confronted with non-academic challenges become stultified.

Way forward:

While none of us can change the Academic grading system, I think we can develop what I call the inferential comprehension ability, that is a high level of reasoning to analyse and interpret our success/failures beyond the face-value statistics.

Through your thoughts, you can weave ignorance and pain or wisdom and happiness into your destiny. It's your choice, it's your call.

Waste of time

While they were teaching us how to label the parts of a Grasshopper, our Chinese counterparts were being taught programming, and how to build the technology required to do surgery for the Grasshopper.

See as we dey today.
Na monkey disvirgin some girls because dem want tablets and mobile phones wey secondary students for China produce.
With all our fanciful certificates, we no get answers to anything.
Common power we no fit generate.
Ordinary ear infection, President dey go abroad go find cure.
Graduates with their Bsc, Msc, Phd...dey carry placards line up for streets dey beg for employment.
Every year our Universities dey produce tons of Lawyers, Doctors and Engineers - see our shambolic legal system. Typhoid still dey kill people for our country. Structures dey collapse everywhere.
How many chartered accountants/ economists are being certified yearly by ICAN and other professional bodies, yet we can't find a team of 7 to prepare a solid budget! So tey we go dey plagiarise budget like we used to plagiarise final year projects at graduate school. So tan!

A whole State, including their governor dey on strike because no money to run the government, and sense no dey to generate any internal revenue.
Ordinary Aboniki balm, we still dey sell fake.
No standard, no control.

We have youths who are smart enough to empty the vault of the Bank of England, but none capable to configure a database system to hold the records of the citizens, which would facilitate better welfare system.
No accurate population census. Na so so population approximation wey dey do. Our government matter come be like father wey wan buy clothes for im pikins but no know how many yards to buy because im no sure how many pikin im born.

Only to dey blow grammar for social media na im we sabi.
If na to die for church and mosque we sabi, yet our hypocrisy stinks to high heavens.
If na to do wedding for Dubai, we sabi.
If na to drink the whole Ciroc distillery, we sabi

Nothing original wey we fit point to say we do...only to dey do copy-copy:
If dem wear crazy jeans, we go wear.
If dem put ring for nose like cow, we go do.
If dem dey carry Dre headphones, we go wan carry.
If dem wear Yeezy trainers, we go wan wear.
If dem drive G wagon, we go wan drive.

If somebody sew lovely shirt with Ankara, instead make we promote am, na to condemn am. When we come see Rihana wear Ankara, everybody go dey share the picture.
Even good music wey we sabi before sef don become a thing of the past.

Watch out for the signs

Aja to ri ni tele to n ju'ru, to wa ri ni to bere si gbó; apere buruku ni.

There are usually warning signs preceding any incident but many simply do not possess the ability to detect them early enough, while others who can recognise these signs lack the knowledge to correctly interpret their meanings, so they just ignore them.
The inability to detect and correctly interpret warning signs ahead to take appropriate actions has led to many ugly fallout of relationships, groups, business collaborations and friendships.

Bi onile ba ti n fi apari isu han alejo, ile to lo niyen.

You must possess the ability to pick the right moment to bow out on a high. Watch out for the signs telling you that you have over-stayed your welcome so as to avoid public disgrace.

Won o fe o l'awujo, o tun da orin. Ta lo fe ba o gbe?

Never ever stay a moment longer in a place where you are no longer wanted. Watch out for those signs telling you that you are no more of value or importance to them. Don't stay there forcing yourself to be accepted.

When a friendship no longer offer joy but strife- don't force it. End it.

When you sense envy in a collaboration that used to seek your elevation- don't carry on. Exit.

When you are no longer respected in a place where you used to be honoured- don't tarry there. Bow out honourable before you are publicly disgraced.

Where your worth and value are no longer appreciated- recognise the sign that they are tired of you. Move on.

Where you are being hindered to operate at your full potentials or asked to play roles you are not comfortable with- it's a sign that you have outgrown that environment. If you remain, your growth will become stunted. Go out and explore new possibilities.

If a partnership is no longer achieving its  purpose- shake hands with no hard feelings and part ways.

If you belong to a group that no longer share the same ideologies with you- admit that you have become a misfit. Leave and find your fit somewhere else.

Be bold, be man enough to take decision. The word NO is not always a negative word. Try to use it more often rather than remain unhappy.

Read those signs now and pick your moment carefully to act.

The power of thoughts

Everything you find around today are products of a thought.

The global companies, the smart gadgets we use daily, and even the laws that are used to rule us, are some people's thoughts.
Man is a product of God's thought.
When you patronise a business, you are paying for their thought and not that product itself.
Where you are today is a summation of your thoughts and decisions you have made or allowed others to make for you.

Your circumstances cannot change until you change your thoughts, and this is because you do not attract what you desire, but what you are-- and what you are is your thought. You life is the evidence of your thoughts. Prov 23:7

If you want to change your life, start by changing your thoughts.

I am VòGg

Maybe they don't know the meaning of my name- 'VòGg', hence they think I can still be bound by the chains of legalism.

I'm a VICTIM OF GOD'S GRACE. I walk, live and exist in grace. I can't boast of anything today that I achieved by my own strength, not even my salvation, neither can any man stand in my presence today, look into my eyes, beat his chest and say 'if not for him I wouldn't be where I am today'. GRACE MADE IT ALL HAPPEN FOR ME AGAINST ALL ODDS.

This is the reason why I won't trade the freedom grace has afforded me for anything else. I'm not a difficult person, I simply won't give up the truth I know and which has set me free- I WON'T.

I will continue to speak about it so as to help others too come into the freedom it gives.
I don't struggle for fame or position. I just want to live a quiet and comfortable life.
I have no point to prove to anybody. I simply live with intention and purpose to positively affect those whom I cross paths with, while I also learn and improve on the person I am from others who have been equally graced.
I don't intend to change the world, but to inspire those who will.

Not many victims live to tell their stories but Grace made mine possible.

VICTIM OF GOD'S GRACE.

You are your own limits

Many often take the limits of their role models as theirs. The problem I find in this is that you might not reach your full potential if your role model's standard was low or they have underperformed.

If you travel the path that was cleared by others, you can only go as far as the path ends, thinking the journey ends there. If you create your own path, only you can determine how far you want to travel.

Role-modelling is good don't get me wrong; but follow the one who has achieved the unbelievable. This will stretch you to your max.

You are your own limits.

The Church need to get real

Marriages are collapsing everywhere, people are making wrong decisions that are destiny-changing, youths are confused, and the church that ought to serve as the compass is stucked in time past.

People have issues....when will the church begin to preach the gospel that is relevant with time?

Only very few practical churches exist. The rest are just breeding hypocrite christians.

People have heard the word, they can quote the word but CANNOT APPLY THE WORD.
When will the church quit ceremony and begin to address the real life issues that people deal with Monday to Friday?

When will the church change their bible study structure from print & read to actually entertaining questions from people and providing answers through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit?

Christianity is a WAY OF LIFE, not a cult as we see it being run today. The people have read that bible passage about Capernum and Bethel countless of time, they want to know how they can apply it to their living in Lagos and London, otherwise it's just another story with no relevance.

When will the church return power and relevance back to the scripture?

Folks have issues they want to discuss but the church is not listening.

When will this structure of come-hear-dont't talk back-sing&dance-pay money- go back home the same, end?

Take Nigeria for instance, so many churches yet zero godliness.

Ki la nse gan?!

It's all becoming routine and boring for me o, emi o de like ki n ma waste time mi.

Let me close with the commentary of my brother Olorunleke Morakinyo Tolubori Olujobi on this matter:

''People are in Church to hear practical, yet Bible-based approach to their financial woes, persecution at place of work and series of failures. Some are there to receive real-life teachings about thier addictions and behavioural problems. Many are there; poor and needy, talented but without support, hoping congregating with "brothers" would provide succour. Yet the Pastor is busy brainwashing, entertaining even. Strategizing on how to get more from these hapless people, and how he can become a "Bishop" of his motor-garage single-branch church in the shortest time. It is a hopeless situation.''
