Suppose i don't know the meaning of the word 'integrity' and i don't have access to a dictionary to look up the meaning, the following are some of the things that would come to my mind by just looking at that picture:
- Integrity is not honesty. It is consistency of character.
No matter how you re-arrange the variables, as long as they remain the same you cannot get a different result.
- Integrity is a virtue.
Integrity has no need of remembering the rules. Those who have it simply act according to the principles.
- Integrity causes pain but it does not compromise.
At some point in life there will be a clash of conflicting interests whereby you will be required to compromise your values. People call it all sorts: 'Diplomacy' 'Gentleman Agreement', 'white lie' etc. However, those who have integrity are ready to die for the values they claim to hold. They are not easily threatened. They see the pain and calamity it brings as just a TEST.
Look around you today, do you know anyone with such quality?
I like that. Good thot.
